Two Artists Holding The Door Open For The Next Generation of Creatives of Color

Scope of Work (SOW)  is a New York City-based talent development agency for young people of color founded by Eda Levenson and Geneva White. The core of SOW's mission is to create racial parity, representation, and diversity in the overwhelmingly white world of creative professionals. “There are so many barriers of entry for people of color into the industry, even if you have a degree and you came from this traditional background,” says White. Through a curriculum of skill-building classes, portfolio reviews, workshops, and internships, SOW is bridging the gap between aspiring young creatives and their first jobs as professionals.
